Joseph Larizza founded Mirador, LLC in 2015 to help investors understand their net worth, evaluate the performance of their investment portfolio, and identify hidden risks and opportunities. Leveraging his over 25 years of experience as a senior technology and operations executive in the financial services industry, Larizza created Mirador as the only performance reporting platform as a service (PaaS) firm in the wealth management industry. He has grown Mirador to be a concierge-style firm servicing families, family businesses, wealth managers, endowments, and foundations.
The inspiration for Mirador came from Larizza’s work at Fieldpoint Private, a wealth management firm and bank built to cater to the needs of high net-worth families, where he served as Chief Administrative Officer heading the bank's Information Technology (IT) and Operations departments.
Before joining Fieldpoint Private, Larizza worked at some of the largest global financial institutions, including Credit Suisse, Goldman Sach's private bank, and Deutsche Asset Management. He also worked at Ernst & Young Consulting, where he started their New York Advanced Development Center practice and launched a fintech dot-com.
Larizza started his career at J.P. Morgan's Operations Training program after graduating from Syracuse University with a bachelor’s degree in information studies. He is actively involved with many youth and community organizations in his home town in Connecticut.
Jeremy Langlois joined Mirador, LLC as a Partner in 2016. As Head of Client Advocacy, Langlois manages Mirador’s growing team of Client Advocates and oversees business development initiatives. Langlois is a subject matter expert in financial reporting solutions and leverages todays best in class financial technology solutions to provide Mirador clients with premium reporting solutions and exquisite customer service. He enjoys solving complex problems and helping clients realize the value of quality performance reporting.
Until recently, Langlois also balanced his responsibilities at Mirador with a demanding professional hockey career of five years. Prior to joining the firm, Langlois worked at Credit Value Partners, where he analyzed high yielding and opportunistic debt investments in private corporate debt. Langlois received his B.S. in Finance and M.B.A. from Quinnipiac University.
In addition to being a Partner at Mirador, Mike serves as co-portfolio manager at Paritas Capital Management. He brings in-depth knowledge and expertise in portfolio analytics, performance reporting, operations, systems integration, and programming to Paritas to maximize the productivity of the team.
Pakula previously was the Head of Analytics at Park Avenue Securities where he worked in partnership with the firm’s business development team of more than 2,800 financial advisors to identify investment opportunities that would benefit their client’s portfolios. His objective was to ensure the business development team and financial advisors had the optimal technological infrastructure to effectively service their clients.
Earlier in his career, Pakula worked at Fieldpoint Private in developing a platform of portfolio management and financial planning applications for the firm. His responsibilities also included overseeing investment performance reporting, investment-related planning applications, securities operations, and client investment policy management.
Pakula holds a bachelor’s degree in corporate finance and accounting from Bentley University. Additionally, he attended Cal Poly San Luis Obispo as a computer science major which has given him a strong skill set in various financial programming areas.
Rich Moss joined Mirador, LLC as a Partner in 2017 to add depth and grit to the Mirador team. Leveraging his 20 plus years of experience as a senior level technology executive in the benefits industry, Moss brings a unique skillset of operational efficiency and productivity to Mirador. From a small town in Idaho, Moss has mastered harnessing the essence of relationship in applying it to the exacting science of complex processes. In short, people make process more effective.
Before joining Mirador, Moss worked at National Benefits Services as the Director of Information Technology, serving as a conduit to business innovation and operational agility. One of his primary roles required him to distill enterprise requirements down to a small business scale.
Moss obtained his education form BYU Idaho and the University of Utah. He is actively involved in various charities and community organizations and continues to hold tight to his Idaho dry-farm roots to draw clear simple lines through complex functional challenges.
